TIRANA, May 2 – The Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, held an electoral meeting in Shkodra, together with the candidate of the “Together We Win” coalition for the Municipality of Shkodër, Bardh Spahia.
During his speech, the chief democrat Berisha called on the candidate of the Socialist Party for the Municipality of Shkodra, Benet Beci, to face the candidate of “Together We Win” Spahia in a debate.
“Shkodra is a city with more extraordinary potential than any other territory of the Albanian lands. Located between the sea and the Alps, located between an eco-aquatic complex, a true natural wonder,” said Berisha.
As a matter of fact Spahia is Mayor of Shkodra and is running for a second mandate competing with the Socialist Party candidate Benet Beci, a former deputy.
“The representative of Edi Rama is running in face of the Democrat candidate. He deserves what you are doing, however this is one side, the other side is my invitation – Benet, come here together with Bardh Spahia, appear in front of the citizens and give account for everything. Answer all the questions of the citizens of Shkodra and with this you prove that you have a sense of responsibility towards the citizens of Shkodra,” said the DP head.
“Your candidacy for Edi Rama, the man who concentrated the powers in his hands, is the fatal mistake of your life. Your soul knows what drove you to make this fatal mistake. Even Tom Doshi knows something about this obligation,” said Berisha. /argumentum.al
