TIRANA, April 13 – The Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, spoke on Thursday about the media law in his speech in the Assembly, saying that the Audiovisual Media Authority (AMA) is the ugliest Rama-Basha compromise.
“The AMA is being discussed here today. It is an archived institution. AMA is the ugliest Rama-Basha compromise. Both have decided, as never before in the history of that institution, their spokespeople. And what can you expect? Both are one!” Berisha said. According to him, the law should be changed and the current senior officials of AMA should be removed.
Berisha also spoke about the visit of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Gabriel Escobar to Tirana.
“I followed the visit of the Assistant Secretary of State, Gabriel Escobar. I liked that visit. I have a long political experience. What I can guarantee to Mr. Escobar, and not only that, is that one more point will be added to the electoral program of Sali Berisha: the extradition of Rama to the US as soon as the American justice asks him to join McGonigal,” said Berisha.
“Ambassador Yuri Kim is a McGonigal in a dress. She will be under investigation without doubt. And I have called on the Inspector General of the FBI to investigate McGonigal’s corrupt affairs with the dress, including her properties in Albania, guaranteeing that the DP will help in this investigation,” said Berisha. /Argumentum.al
