TIRANA, February 13 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, said that he has documents related to the orgies of McGonigal and ‘Rama’ government officials in the clubs of Tirana after leaving the Assembly by joining the opposition protest on Monday.
Berisha said that he would submit these facts to the commissions inside and outside the country.
“You saw, Edi Rama, branded with the McGonigal scandal, had convinced the Socialist Party ladies in the Assembly that my accusations and the McGonigal scandal were not at the epicenter of Edi Rama, but some affairs in the pubs and clubs of Tirana. Is there a greater shame than protesting against the statements I made at the press conference with journalists and stating that each of them was accused?” Berisha said.
He announced that he would submit any data to the parliamentary commissions in Albania and the US.
“It is about documents. But given my character, you have never seen any video or photo of an erotic nature published on FB because I don’t deal with them. In this case, the fact that these ladies reacted so strongly makes me investigate 3 times more in every direction. If I didn’t have facts, would I speak? If I didn’t have facts, could I make the statement? But this collective reaction of socialist ladies makes me doubt more,” said Berisha.
Speaking in the parliament hall, Berisha declared that none of the government officials involved in the McGonigal scandal will escape.
“The shadow of McGonigal haunts this parliament as he collaborated not only with Edi Rama, but also with some of these ministers,” said the head of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha during his speech in the parliament.
In the meantime he spoke before the protesters after leaving the Assembly hall expressing the determination for the continuation of the ‘revolution’. Berisha said that protests will be held during the time that the plenary session will be held. /Argumentum.al
