TIRANA, March 19 – The Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha reacted on Sunday after the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia last night in Ohrid of North Macedonia.
“The long meeting in Ohrid ended with ‘success’, but the agreement was not signed because the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, did not sign it. At the previous meeting in Brussels, he made it clear that he did not sign after Prime Minister Kurti refused to discuss the association. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Kurti agreed to discuss the association at the Ohrid meeting, and just like in Brussels he was ready to sign the Franco-German agreement,” emphasized Berisha.
Further he said that Vucic declared at the end of the meeting that he had not signed anything and that he did not sign international legal agreements with Kosovo.
“So in Ohrid, there was no signed agreement because the president of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic, did not sign it, although the agreement, like any other agreement, had to be signed to be legally binding,” said Berisha.
“This attitude of Mr. Vucic proves that as long as he is in power, he will never sign an agreement with Kosovo,” concluded Berisha. /Argumentum.al
