TIRANA, January 27 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha warned that he will not stop in the final battle together with the citizens until the overthrow of Prime Minister Rama. He gave the message to his political opponent at the weekly press conference on Friday, as the majority expelled him for 10 days from the deliberations of the Assembly, together with the deputies, Flamur Noka, Belind Kelliçi, Edmond Spaho and Edi Paloka, for blocking the rostrum of the Assembly. on Thursday.
“The parliament of Linda (Speaker Lindita Nikolla) and Rama is the parliament of shame in the history of the country and I guarantee that the battle will take place in every corner of Tirana, in every hall, in every institution. The whole of Tirana will pour into the streets, Albania will march towards Tirana in the non-stop protest that will overthrow Edi Rama,” Berisha warned.
In the meantime, he repeated the request to PM Rama to resign and asked the law enforcement authorities to initiate a criminal proceeding against Edi Rama for his involvement in the investigations launched in the US against the former head of counterintelligence of the FBI, Charles McGonilal.
“Edi Rama deserves immediate removal and criminal proceedings. Edi Rama should resign immediately. Edi Rama is an international criminal, he has committed a terribly serious act against the country, which is the strategic partner of Albania, and our country,” Berisha said.
Further Berisha raised doubts about a possible departure of the Prime Minister abroad and meetings between him and George Soros.
“It has been missing for 48 hours. He went to his godfather, George Soros to ask for help, or elsewhere, we have no news. The news does not leak according to the code of the mafia,” said Berisha. /Argmentum.al
