TIRANA, February 23 – While the opposition was protesting outside the doors of the Assembly on Thursday, a statement by the number two of the socialist, Taulant Balla regarding the decision of the Court of Appeal on March 3 about the future of the Democratic Party ignited more Sali Berisha’s tone in front of the citizens.
“I’m sure that after the March 3 you will no longer be like this because the court will ultimately make a decision,” said Balla.
“Since you are the first to announce the decision, I swear in front of these men that you and Edi Rama will become personally responsible for any hostile act towards the DP and the Albanian opposition,” said Berisha.
Berisha’s revolt went even further by giving another warning to Prime Minister Rama in the confrontation he said he expects with the March 3 revolution.
“In any case, the march towards Surrel will be our march”, he said.
Although the opposition deputies were not allowed to enter the parliament this Thursday, Berisha, who is excluded for 10 days from the plenary sessions, took care to give the next message to the head of the government.
“In three minutes, we are inside the parliament. We decided, we are in the hall,” said Berisha. /argumentum.al
