TIRANA, March 4 – The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a telephone conversation with the President of Turkey, Rexhep Tayp Erdogan on Saturday.
The two leaders talked about the last meeting in Brussels for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, said a press release issued by the premier’s press office.
Erdogan welcomed the result achieved in the dialogue process, expressing his support and willingness to help.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Kurti once again expressed his condolences to President Erdogan, and through him, to the families of the earthquake victims and the entire people of Turkey.
Kurti also thanked President Erdogan for his generous hospitality in Istanbul on February 3, where they had a very productive meeting that will serve to further strengthen relations and permanent friendship between the two countries.
“Prime Minister Kurti said that Kosovo is not a big country but with a big heart, which has shown generosity towards everyone in their difficult days. Finally, to Ukrainians and Afghans. Kosovo is and will always continue to stand by friendly countries in their difficult days, especially Turkey,” the press release stated.
President Erdogan thanked Prime Minister Kurti for full solidarity with the state and people of Turkey, which is going through the worst disaster in this century.
He thanked for the decision for support and aid, for the members of the KSF who did search and rescue in the ruins, as well as for declaring the day of mourning in Kosovo. /Argumentum.al
