TIRANA, October 22 – Albanians are definitely disgusted by the hypocrisy of the (Socialist) Renaissance (Rilindja), being impatient for change and protests because they know very well that the time of the final and real confrontation has come.
This motto was the gist of the speech that the leader of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta made in a meeting in the southern town of Kuçova on Saturday.
Meta said that the country has been captured by Rilindja and that Albanians are disgusted by this sect.
Speaking of the ongoing protest of university lecturers Meta said the latter are asking that they should have the same salaries as the lecturers of Kosovo after two years. “The government in Kosovo has suspended public investments to increase their salaries. Albanians know very well that it is not a matter of lack of funds, it is a matter of stealing their taxes by Edi Rama personally.”
Meta, a former president and prime minister, said 7 new concessions worth 1 billion dollars are planned for the next year alone. “Golden roads, 6 times more expensive. 1 km of road more expensive in Albania than in Serbia because they are neither the culmination of democracy nor transparency. If one resident flees from Serbia, 10 flee from Albania because the aim here is that people not to be helped, so that the middle class does not consolidate and expand, but to have as many poor people as possible,” said Meta. Meta pledged that Albania will return to the Albanians.
“This is the mission of the FP and this is the reason why from July 25 I am at the head of this political force, but also of the battle to return freedom and dignity to every Albanian citizen. We are not at all against the socialists; I always talk about the Renaissance, a sect that has usurped everything,” said Meta, blasting, in the meantime, on former DP head Lulzim Basha who has been caught by Rama. /Argumentum.al
