TIRANA, August 5 – Criminalist expert Ervin Karamuço has made a public denunciation regarding the data of the TIMS system in Albania.
In a post on the social network Facebook on Saturday, Karamuço unveiled that a senior police officer was caught by his subordinates deleting data from TIMS.
“A Department Director in the State Police, whose rank was “Senior Director” recently appointed by special order and without a police school and former employee of AKSHI from where he was expelled after data leak, is suspected to have been caught red-handed by his subordinates, downloading and deleting data in the TIMS police system,” said the expert.
According to him, he is currently suspended from office and surprisingly has not been arrested yet. Meanwhile, the alarm about this case has been raised in a number of institutions, including SHISH.
“The investigations that are being carried out are complex and should aim to provide answers to the questions on whose account this official was stealing data and on whose order he was appointed so high in the police hierarchy,” the criminalist expert concluded. /argumentum.al
