TIRANA, August 4 – The former Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj was questioned by SPAK regarding the sterilization tender signed in 2015 by the Ministry of Health for more than 2 hours on Friday.
Socialist MP Denaj said that she was called in the capacity of the person who has knowledge about this concession during the time she was the director of Support Services in the Ministry of Finance in 2014.
“I have been asked to clarify the information that I am aware of while I was the director of Support Services at the Ministry of Finance in 2014 when this concession was under discussion,” the former FinMin said after the hearing session at SPAK.
Earlier, former minister Ilir Beqja, former deputy minister Klodian Rrjepaj, as well as other officials of the Ministry of Health were asked about this issue.
SPAK has registered the investigations for 3 charges, “Abuse of duty”, “Violation of equality in tenders” and “Passive corruption” as there are suspicions that there was favoritism during the procedure for the winning company, as well as the concession procedures which were followed. /argumentum.al
