The Chairmanship of the Democratic Party (DP) headed by Lulzim Basha signed on Wednesday the expulsion of four deputies of the group led by former Prime Minister Berisha and the suspension of 6 others. According to the DP headquarters, the suspended will have another chance to return to the party if they distance themselves from the violent protest of January 8, organized by the group that supports Berisha.
But what stands out in the list of those excluded and suspended is the fact that 4 deputies who have supported former Prime Minister Berisha from the beginning with his tour under the motto Foltore (rostrum) are not on the list of the ‘enemies’.
“Balkanweb” has referred to the archive of Berisha’s meetings in the districts, where it notes that Bujar Leskaj, Luciano Boçi, Sorina Koti and Isuf Celaj have sided with Berisha, but are not on the list of suspended.
Leskaj has participated in Berisha’s meetings in Vlora, although he has avoided being involved in the media debate between Basha and Berisha.
Luciano Boçi, who was the only one who broke the threshold in Elbasan and took the mandate of deputy with over 10,000 personal votes has appeared publicly with Berisha in the rostrum of Elbasan.
Less present in the media were the deputy of Kukes, Isuf Cela and that of Korça, Sorina Koti, but who were no longer absent from the Foltore activities.
However, the DP leadership has not included them in the “black list”, unlike their colleagues, who must first distance themselves from Berisha if they want to return to the DP. / Argumentum.al
