TIRANA, April 8 – Freedom Party (FP) MP Monika Kryemadhi commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama’s statement in an interview on News 24 TV on Saturday that he would remove Albania from the jurisdiction of the Court of Arbitration. This statement came after the final decision on the closure of “Agon Channel” and the Albanian government was forced to pay 110 million euros to the Italian businessman Francesco Becchetti.
Kryemadhi said that Prime Minister Rama who makes such statements is mentally ill, while adding that the bill that the Albanians will pay after the Arbitration decision will also include that of the owner of “Hysenbelliu Group”.
Kryemadhi said that Rama’s “threat” to leave the jurisdiction of the Arbitration comes as a result of the legal problems he faces or expects to face.
“He has mental problems. We must have it in the law that the health cartels of high officials who are elected must be seen before. The bill of the owner of News 24 television will be added to Becchetti’s bill. A few days ago, the American senator thanked Albania for the hospitality of the Afghans, while the first hotel that hosted them was the one where the dynamite was set, “Prestige Resort”,” she said.
In addition to the mental issue, he also has legal problems, so Rama behaves like that. That’s why he says we will leave the Arbitration because he wants to remove Albanians from the EU. The only ones who did not want to open negotiations are Rama and his government.
“He wants to close the negotiations with the EU and says we will leave the jurisdiction of the Arbitration. Tomorrow I am not surprised that he will leave the UN and other international organizations,” said Kryemadhi.
The MP of FP also spoke about the local elections of May 14 for which she said that she sees that the opposition rank-and-file is very unified. /argumentum.al
