TIRANA, May 23 – The Chairman of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta, praised the opposition team in Kucovo, which won the hearts of the majority of the citizens there and elected Lefter Maliq as the Mayor in the 14 May local elections.
Neither the police violence nor the electoral crimes during the campaign and on the day of the polls deterred them in the battle for change. We will contest the electoral massacre in Kucovo until the end and we will never accept the result, said Meta on Facebook on Tuesday.
