TIRANA, March 8 – Shortly after Prime Minister Edi Rama’s meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin, the German government assessed the relations with Albania as excellent, according to a German government spokesperson.
In a post on social networks on Wednesday, Christiane Hoffmann, one of the spokespersons of the German government, reiterated Chancellor Scholz’s message that Albania remains one of Germany’s most reliable partners.
“German-Albanian relations are excellent. We are happy to rely on Albania as a reliable partner and we remain a close and reliable partner on its path to the EU,” said Hoffmann.
During a joint press conference with Prime Minister Rama in Berlin on Tuesday, Chancellor Scholz praised Albania’s efforts on the road to EU membership. /Argumentum.al
