The Ministry of Health informed that no person lost his life from COVID-19 in Albania during the last 24 hours, which happens after a long period of the pandemic.
The number of new daily cases of COVID-19 remains stable, as during the last 24 hours 15 people have tested positive for the virus. Positive cases have resulted from 2,691 tests performed.
Some 71 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours bringing the number of cured patients to 128,978 since the outbreak of the epidemic on March 9, 2020. Currently 43 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals out of whom 7 patients are in intensive therapy.
In face of the improvement of the pandemic situation Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Wednesday that the committee of experts will come up with a new plan, which introduces further easing of restriction measures on Thursday. But he again appealed for caution. /argumentum.al
