TIRANA, October 26 – The former head of the Durrës Cadastre, Rajmonda Dashi, has been placed under the security measure of “house arrest” at the request of SPAK, as there are suspicions that she is involved in the money laundering of a criminal group in the field of narcotics in Belgium.
Specifically, it is about the two brothers Besian and Leonard Rama from Fier convicted in the Belgian state for drug trafficking who, according to SPAK, have invested their income from criminal activity in real estate in Albania.
To implement this scheme, the two brothers needed the help of the head of the Durrës cadastre as well as another person identified as Ardian Malasi, who had already been arrested.
The request for the issuance of security measures by SPAK was initiated by the Belgian authorities, which some time ago set in motion the special prosecution through a letter.
The brothers Besian and Leonard Rama, who according to sources are close to the Cadastre official’s family, remain on the run. It is this connection that allegedly helped them to hide the properties given by illegal sources and to alienate them.
Based on these suspicions, the assets owned by the two brothers have been put into preventive seizure at the request of SPAK. It is about 16 apartments in Fier and Tirana, 1 commercial company, 3 garages, 27 bank accounts and 2 vehicles. /argumentum.al
