TIRANA, July 1 – “The Euro-Atlantic community cannot understand, justify or tolerate the behavior of the Kosovo authorities.”
This statement was made by Prime Minister Edi Rama in an interview on Saturday stressing that the Euro-Atlantic community, the EU with the active support of the US, have brought a very difficult process to a really long-awaited point for Albanians and Kosovo.
“After that, Kosovo, the authorities of Kosovo, the government of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, must hold fast to succeed in taking the big step of final liberation from the shadow of the ignorance of half the world and succeed in finally normalizing relations with Serbia,” said Rama.
“After making all this effort, after reaching this point, after putting Serbia in a tight box, the Euro-Atlantic community can neither understand nor justify nor tolerate the behavior of the Kosovo authorities and the approach of the Prime Minister, Albin, which is a behavior and approach as if this other one did not exist, as if they were not a few years ago and as if this process had not happened,” he said.
“It is a bitter fact that this conflict, this monumental obstacle to the path of the process, is only playing someone else’s game, which is not the EU, the US, Albania, the interests of the Albanian nation, it is not the interests of the people of Kosovo, the game of the Kremlin. Unconsciously, I repeat it, but it is very heavy”, said Rama.
The Prime Minister said that he cannot understand Albin Kurti in this case and this is an open confrontation for a very great interest that is not only the interest of Kosovo, but the interest of the Albanian nation. /argumentum.al
