New details have been unveiled on the police operation in Korça, southeastern Albania, by BalkanWeb on Saturday which said that more than 80 illegal refugees, who crossed the border entering Albania from Greece, were seized.
It is reported that Kurdish, Moroccan, Algerian and Syrian refugees, including children, girls and women, were traveling from Devoll to Tirana.
They were caught near a gas station in the village of Leminot in Korça. Some of the people involved in helping these illegal immigrants cross into Albania have been detained, said police.
This operation has marked the largest number ever caught in a police operation in Korça region during the last months. /argumentum.al
