TIRANA, October 4 – Interior Minister Taulant Balla was called on Wednesday to report to the Parliamentary Commission for European Affairs and in his speech he guaranteed that the data of the TIMS system is 100% protected and there is no leakage.
“The assembly has full power. I want to guarantee that every citizen’s data in the TIMS system is 100% protected. There is no data that has leaked from this fortified system thanks also to the support of partners,” said Balla, who appreciated the assistance of the US and other western partners.
“During the summer of last year, the system was attacked, but I want to guarantee you that the system is 100% functional. I asked the general director of the Police and the Police Supervision Agency for the immediate involvement of SPAK,” said Balla.
He guaranteed every Albanian citizen and foreigner who entered or left the country that Albania has a data operation center that has the best standards. Balla said that anyone’s claims should be verified by the prosecution. /argumentum.al
