The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has stated that today, on International Day of Families, the Albanian family is more endangered than ever.
In a post on social networks, Meta said that “Rilindja” has declared war on the family and is making every effort to destroy and undo its values, also referring to the draft law on Reproductive Health, which also foresees surrogacy.
Meta added that more concrete social and economic policies are needed to preserve the family.

International Family Day finds the Albanian family more endangered than ever by the “Rilindja”(Renaissance) sect that has declared war on it and is making every effort to destroy and undo its values.
This is an attack against the national identity because this is the essence of the deliberate agenda of “Renaissance” for the depopulation of Albania.
It is this inhuman trend that aims to denature and annihilate the Albanian family with “Parent 1 and Parent 2” by attempting in a criminal and anti-national way to transform the country into a laboratory farm of international surrogacy.
Today’s “Rilindja”(Renaissance) resembles a dangerous cloud of locusts that have swarmed with an unbridled appetite for crops and fertility to exterminate them.
This is how the “Rilindja”(Renaissance) has been brought about for 11 years with Albanians, their families and with the public and natural assets of Albania.
This is eagle country and we will never allow it to return to the land of identityless insects.
For us, the Family has been sacred and will remain sacred!
I strongly support the strengthening of the role and values of the Family, and I will continue to promote its healthy maintenance.
Albania needs more new and stable families, more children and better conditions for their upbringing and education, for more concrete social and economic policies.
