Kosovo Embassy in Israel, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, has organized a virtual meeting between the Minister of Health of Kosovo, Armend Zemaj and the Minister of Health of Israel, Yuli Edelstein.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry quoted by gazeta express on Wednesday, the meeting was organized to discuss Israel’s assistance in providing anti-Covid19 vaccines to the people of Kosovo. The Ministry also announced that Israel has expressed its readiness to exhaust all possibilities to help Kosovo secure the necessary doses.
Kosovo, has not taken delivery of any COVID-19 vaccines. Authorities have stated that the first doses of vaccines from the COVAX alliance are expected to arrive by the end of March.
