TIRANA, November 10 – The Italian left is trying to exclude the prime minister of Albania, Edi Rama, from the European Socialist Party for the agreement with Italy on immigrants, said in a post on Instagram on Friday the Italian prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, in connection with the establishment of the center of reception for migrants in Shengjin, northern Albania.
“Listen to the right answer,” wrote Meloni in her post, while publishing Rama’s reaction to this matter given in the interview from Paris for the show “Dritto e Rovescio” of Italian television, Rete4.
“I have to say that if it’s the left in Italy that has… let’s say it’s a little offline for a while, and I hope that’s a closed issue, because then that exclusion has resulted in what they think that this arrangement is wrong. No, no, then I think that maybe it is not the left wing that helps Italy in this way,” Rama said, adding that it is the right wing in Albania that tells us the same things.
“So it has nothing to do with either the left or the right, maybe this is just the right. We will see,” said Rama.
Italian PM Meloni emphasized that the answer of the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, was the right one. /argumentum.al
