TIRANA, April 19 – The Freedom Party (FP), as the leader of the “Together We Win” coalition, has submitted to the Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS) at the Central Election Commission the request for the registration of the name of the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha as the leader of the coalition.
“On behalf of the coalition “We win together”, as well as its component parties, I inform you that for the effect of correct reflection of the data of the coalition on the ballot according to the provisions of Article 98 of the Electoral Code to be added that the leader of the coalition is MP Sali Berisha,” says the letter signed by FP representative Endrit Braimllari.
After a withdrawal of about 20 minutes, KAS made the decision to drop the request for Berisha’s name alongside the coalition on the ballots on Wednesday.
