TIRANA – As part of the opening up scheme
kindergartens and nurseries will start functioning on June 1 after a 2- month closure due to the coronavirus pandemic in Albania.
The announcement was made by Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu on Tuesday who noted that the reopening strategy will continue according to the stages that the technical committee of experts has approved.
“Nurseries and kindergartens will reopen on June 1, in compliance with the protocol which has been approved and distributed for the facilities prepared,” she said.
According to Manastirliu, the second phase of reopening will continue with the tourist season.
The minister said maximum awareness from the health structures has been urged during the second phase of reopening.
“We must not forget that the virus continues to circulate and we must respond with all structures. We have entered the 12th week of the pandemic with over 1000 affected. Now the work becomes more difficult to trace the contacts, hence controls should be intensified by our field structures”, said Manastirliu./argumentum.al
