TIRANA, November 14 – In his address in the media forum for Southeast Europe held in Tirana on Tuesday with the participation of representatives from more than 30 countries of the world, Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke among other things about the relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
Rama said that for a long time the parties have avoided the inevitable, which according to him is to come to an agreement. For the prime minister, there is no other way, since their place is in the Euro-Atlantic community.
According to him, the inevitable is that they reach an agreement because there is no other way since the place of both countries is in the Euro-Atlantic community. “They cannot change the geography, they are in the middle of Europe and so their place is there. The inevitable is to find a common language.”
Rama said that he currently sees the situation between the two countries as more positive. According to him, there is currently progress in principle to move forward regarding the association issue.
“The situation right now, as I see it, is a bit different, because there is significant progress in accepting in principle to move forward with the association issue. I hope it will continue like this and then the other steps will be taken since there is no winner here,” said Rama. /argumentum.al
