TIRANA, August 21 – The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has traveled to Athens where he will participate in the informal dinner invited by his Greek counterpart, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The news was confirmed by the Government spokesman, Pëparim Kryeziu on Monday.
“Prime Minister Kurti has traveled to Athens where he will participate in the dinner invited by the Greek Prime Minister, Mitsotakis, with the leaders of the Western Balkans, which is being held on the 20th anniversary of the Thessaloniki Summit,” he said.
Kryeziu announced that during his stay in Athens, Kurti will hold several meetings.
The Greek news agency ANA has announced that the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, the president of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovic, the prime minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacheski, and the head of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Kristo will also participate in the informal dinner.
Albania is not represented in this event as President Bajram Begaj refused the invitation extended by the Greek premier. In the meantime, Prime Minister Edi Rama was not invited to the event. /argumentum.al
