TIRANA, March 21 – Prime Minister Albin Kurti expects international factors to judge and condemn Serbia’s behavior for non-implementation of the Ohrid agreement. He declared in a press conference that he has told the international community that the implementation of the agreement should begin immediately.
“I expect the international factors to judge and condemn the behavior of Serbia which, when meetings are held, says that it does not sign the agreement and that it does not implement anything,” said Kurti.
According to him, Serbia cannot speak against Kosovo’s membership in international organizations and declared during meetings that it will not implement anything. “He (Vucic) cannot speak as if he will never recognize Kosovo since the basic agreement is de facto recognition.”
Kurti stressed that he is the only one who makes proposals and offers in Brussels meetings.
“I make proposals and offers that are rejected and in the end we come to an agreement but they (Serbs) do not sign. Regarding the formulation for the self-management of the Serbian community, let’s discuss the issues that we have left pending and for us it is a formulation that belongs very faithfully and accurately to the framework convention for the protection of national minorities according to the Council of Europe,” said PM Kurti.
Kosovo and Serbia agreed on the EU formula as well as the roadmap for the implementation of the plan for the normalization of relations, but did not sign anything in Ohrid, North Macedonia, on March 18. /Argumentum.al
