TIRANA, April 5 – The court session in the Specialized Chambers of Kosovo with headquarters in The Hague involving four alleged former high officials of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi, and Jakup Krasniqi was held on Wednesday during which Krasniqi spoke.
He asked the court to not use as evidence against him his books and communique that were intended to propagandize to motivate people to join the KLA, as well to not misuse the materials, including his letters from jail.
He described the tortures he experienced by the Serbian regime adding that the content of the indictment of the SPO hurt him more than the Serbian tortures, RTKlive reported on Wednesday.
During his speech, he mentioned his commitment to Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and called the accusation against it absurd.
Krasniqi reiterated his innocence, saying that he has never committed any crime and is proud of all his activities. /Argumentum.al
