TIRANA, May 8 – The Berisha-Meta coalition has been left without vote counters in half of the country’s Commission of Zones of Electoral Administration (KZAZ). After KAS rejected their request not to share the fourth member with the Party for Justice, Integration and Unity (PDIU), the Freedom Party has turned to the Electoral College. The Freedom Party seeks to overturn the decision of the KAS, so that the fourth member of the vote counting group is only of their Party.
According to the law, out of 4 members, 2 counters belong to SP and 1 to DP. Meanwhile, according to the lot that was cast in the CEC a few days ago, the Meta-Berisha Coalition will have vote counters for the May 14 elections only at the odd-numbered counting tables in all the KZAZ of the country, while the Party for Justice, Integration and Unity in the even-numbered tables. /Argumentum.al
