President Ilir Meta reacted regarding the situation in Ukraine, emphasizing that it is at a very critical moment on Saturday.
Particularly critical, as he said, is the humanitarian situation due to the mass evacuation of citizens from areas that are facing extremely fierce fighting.
Meta said that he welcomed the commitment of the Albanian Red Cross, the largest humanitarian organization in Albania, which has as its mission and activity the assistance of people in need in armed conflicts and other critical situations, to start organizing the gathering of aid in support of the people of Ukraine.
The President called on all civil society to follow this humanitarian initiative to provide all the support that the effort of a people struggling to defend its freedom at all costs deserves. / Argumentum.al
