There is a good cooperation between Albania and Montenegro and that this cooperation should be extended to all areas with a primary objective for better interconnection between citizens on both sides of the border.
This was declared by President Ilir Meta in a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Djorde Radulovic on Wednesday as announced by a post on Facebook.
“I commended Montenegro for the progress it has made, especially in terms of the European integration process, so vital for all countries in the region,” Meta said. He expressed the desire for the good cooperation that exists between the two countries to be accelerated and further deepened in all areas, having as primary objective the better interconnection between citizens on both sides of the border.
“I stressed that the partnership in NATO should inspire closer and closer relations between Albania and Montenegro and that both governments have every opportunity to model this cooperation in conveying the best values of the Alliance,” said Meta.
Further on he said that in particular he called for a more inclusive and fairer representation of Albanians in the central and local institutions of Montenegro, expressing satisfaction that the Albanian factor continues to contribute positively and consistently to all democratization processes. and development, being a key factor for Montenegro’s Euro-Atlantic and European approach. /
