TIRANA, October 22 – Ilir Meta condemned the order of SPAK, which prohibits the exit of the opposition leader Sali Berisha from Albania and which arrested his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi. According to the head of the Freedom Party (FP), SPAK acted on a political order towards Berisha, with the sole purpose of silencing the opposition that denounces the corrupt affairs of the Rama government.
The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, described SPAK’s political order against the leader of the opposition, Sali Berisha and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi, as an unconstitutional action in a post on social networks on Sunday. These actions are to avoid attention from corruption and the heavy responsibilities of Edi Rama with the affair of the incinerators, according to him. “These actions, which have violated the Parliament of Albania, require the avoidance of attention from corruption and the very heavy personal responsibilities of Edi Rama for the affair of the incinerators and many other affairs worth hundreds of millions.”
The head of the FP further added that the purpose of this entire action is blackmail and intimidation of the opposition, which has denounced the government’s affairs.
“The only political goal is the blackmail and intimidation of the opposition, which is persistently denouncing the very bitter truths of the government’s mafia corruption,” Meta said. /argumentum.al
