On the second day of his visit to France, Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by his wife Linda Rama, was honored at the ceremony held in the Court of Honor of “Les Invalides”, in Paris, a well-known complex of museums and monuments, connected with the military history of France.
Prime Minister Rama and his wife were hosted at the entrance portico by the Minister for Europe Jean-Noël Barrot and by the Military Governor of Paris, Corporal General Christophe Abad.
Afterwards, the Prime Minister, accompanied by the Commander of the Republican Guard troop, crossed the Court of Honor, in the presence of three lined up platoons of the Guard.
The national anthems of Albania and France followed the protocol of the ceremony and then Prime Minister Rama, accompanied by the Troop Commander, paraded in front of the Guard platoons.
The military honors before Prime Minister Rama were presented by a detachment composed of the orchestra of the Republican Guard and three platoons of the infantry regiments of the Republican Guard.
