As it was expected in face of the spiralling spread of the coronavirus pandemic a partial lockdown will be imposed across Albania starting from November 11. This was announced by the head of the Technical Committee of Experts, Deputy Health Minister Mira Rakacolli in a press statement on Monday.
The transmission of the virus in the country has increased considerably in recent days, therefore new restrictive measures will be imposed, said the statement informing that movement will be restricted from 22:00 to 06:00 in the morning for 3 weeks in a row starting on next Wednesday.
“Movement will be allowed only for work or health reasons. Bars and restaurants will be closed from 22:00 until 06:00 in the morning,” it was said.
Below are some of the measures: Restriction of movement from 22:00 – 06:00 throughout Albania with the exception of movement for work reasons, health emergencies or urgent needs.
Secondly, the activities of bars – restaurants will be prohibited from 22:00 – 06:00 in the morning, except for delivery service.
In the meantime smart-working for public administration (according to the specifics of the sector) will be applied in accordance with the security protocols. /argumentum.al
