TIRANA, March 15 – Defense Minister Niko Peleshi participated in the tenth meeting of the Contact Group for Ukraine, convened by the US Secretary of Defense, Lloyd J. Austin III.
Peleshi said on social networks on Wednesday that the resistance of the Ukrainian people and government was appreciated, strongly in the meeting attended by 54 allied countries of the coalition, supporting the efforts to protect the recovered territories and the liberation of those still under Russian occupation.
“In unity with our partners to continue helping in the name of freedom and the right to life in Ukraine,” said Peleshi.
Ukraine has been at war since last February 24, when it was attacked by Russia. /Argumentum.al
