Even though they face great pressure and criticism from the international factor, who blame him for the tensions in the north of Kosovo, Prime Minister Albin Kurti does not hesitate to extend his hand to them again.
In an interview for “TheGeopost” he asked for the help of internationals to stop, according to him, the attempt to fragment Kosovo.
“They are making these riots because they see that Kosovo is a state, while they want its division, they want the dismemberment of Kosovo, this is their clear goal. They have not given up on this idea, which can only be implemented through violence. That’s why we need the help of our international partners and friends, the United States of America, the European Union, NATO, the United Kingdom and so on,” said the Prime Minister of Kosovo.
According to Kurti, tensions in Kosovo are nothing more than Vladimir Putin’s open challenge to the United States of America.
“Putin is obsessed with Kosovo and he connects this with the year 1999 and NATO’s intervention. He is very angry that Kosovo is an example of the success of NATO intervention, of democratic state building and economic development, while he is very happy that the Western intervention in Afghanistan and Iraq was not so successful. And here Kosovo makes the big contrast, so he would like Kosovo to fail like Iraq and Afghanistan. But Kosovo is an independent state, which does not retreat or submit to Serbia as a client regime of Moscow and Kremlin,” said Kurti.
The destabilization of Western Balkans, according to Prime Minister of Kosovo, is the only way for Russia to avoid its internal crisis.
