TIRANA, December 6 – Prime Minister Rama said on Tuesday in his reaction regarding the physical attack on the Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha that he condemned that act, calling it inexcusable.
The head of government unequivocally condemned the unjustifiable and intolerable act of violence against the organizer and leader of the protest on Tuesday in a short press release.
Asked at the press conference after the EU-WB Summit about this attack in the presence of the EU highest leaders, Rama did not answer, advising the journalists who asked him to refer to the above announcement.
In the meantime, President Bajram Begaj considered those acts unacceptable and contradicting the principles of democracy and the development of peaceful protests. Begaj encouraged the relevant authorities to investigate that case of violence and clarify the dynamics of the event as soon as possible. /Argumentum.al
