TIRANA, April 12 – Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama is not concerned over the feverish armament drive of Serbia.
Rama made that comment at a joint news conference with German Chancellor in Berlin on Tuesday at the end of his two- day visit to Germany.
Rather than concerned Rama considered as positive the stance of Serbia regarding Russian aggression against Ukraine at the UN.
Below is an excerpt from the interview:
“I am not worried about Serbia’s armament. I see no reason to worry today. It is more important that we breathe in the wind of peace and hold the Western Balkans together as much as possible, even with the help of our strategic allies, such as Germany. I do not see how a missile defense system can be a concern for us? Serbia has taken steps. It has taken encouraging steps at the UN. And the Balkans so far is together. Cooperation in the region is of great importance due to the conflict in Ukraine,” Rama said. /Argumentum.al
