TIRANA, June 12 – Prime Minister Edi Rama recalled on Monday the deployment of NATO in Kosovo on June 12, 1999, while he said that today is the day to reflect deeply and to get Kosovo out of the impasse.
Rama said that without the strategic allies of the Albanians there would be neither the Republic of Kosovo, nor freedom and democracy for the Albanians in Kosovo.
“Like today and almost a quarter of a century ago, NATO’s entry into Kosovo reminds everyone that without the strategic allies of the Albanians, good friends in the worst days, there would be neither the Republic of Kosovo nor freedom and democracy for Albanians in Kosovo! May God bless our allies!” said Rama on social networks.
Therefore, according to him, today is the day to reflect deeply and to get Kosovo out of the dead end where the absurd quarrel with the allies has put it.
“Kosovo must definitely get out of the impasse with dialogue, not with the police, with concrete ideas, not with propaganda, with good friends, not with mistreatment of friends,” said Rama. /argumentum.al
