TIRANA, April 30 – Prime Minister Edi Rama has declared that relations between Albania and Greece are at their peak. Rama made that comment in his speech at the “DELPHI 2023, World Affairs” Economic Forum, which took place in Athens on April 28.
“We are working very closely with each other and there is a lot of devotion and willingness to do more things together,” said Rama. “There is a spirit that anyway the relations between the peoples are so good that at the end of the day the politicians have to adapt in the sense that they cannot and should not be an obstacle at a time when the relations between the peoples are fantastic.”
Prime Minister Rama emphasized that “since several years already under the leadership of Micotaqis Greece has ‘returned’ to the region and this has been a positive development for us.”
“We can work better now because Greece is an important and strategic partner when it comes to negotiations with the European Union. It has been a very strong support for us, but it has also been a very strong support for North Macedonia, this after both countries solved the problem they had with the name or other issues related to it,” said Rama. /argumentum.al
