TIRANA, May 10 – The Prime Minister, at the same time the head of the Socialist Party (SP), Edi Rama addressed a video message to all citizens in the framework of the local elections which will be held in Albania on May 14.
Rama said in his message published on social networks on Wednesday that “Albania is moving forward, our municipalities are moving forward, building a modern infrastructure and continuously improving services.”
While acting Mayor, who is Socialist candidate for Durrës Municipality, Emiriana Sako said that “here in Durrës together with Edi Rama, we are building the new tourist port, the new commercial port, the new railway as well as the long-awaited beach promenade and many others.”
She said that “the city is being cleaned better every day. Our work for the future of Durrës is speaking more and more clearly every day.”
Prime Minister Rama emphasized that “to make Durrës and the Albania we want, we need capable leaders, dedicated people like Emiriana Sako, while two shadows of the past with their masks in every municipality seek to turn us back.”
“Let’s continue to move forward in every city and throughout Albania. Never back,” concluded Rama’s message to the citizens. /Argumentum.al
