Prime Minister Edi Rama has said that the chairman of the opposition Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, does not tell the truth regarding the issue of incinerators.
“Why is Luli worried, why is he shouting? I feel sorry for Luli, I love him very much, but a slap on his face once a month, when he deserves it, you have to give it to him because it is a condition of love. Whoever beats you, loves you!” said Rama.
During a press conference on Thursday, the opposition leader denounced the corrupt affair, as he called it, of the garbage mafia, while calling on SPAK to immediately start an investigation. Basha said the anti corruption body should justify its existence by investigating the 400 million garbage mafia affair.
The accusations and counter-accusations were then transferred to social networks, where Rama and Basha exchanged messages remotely with each other.
“But how can you tell Albanians that the mafia is cleaning Albania from massive garbage in the middle of the biggest cities of the country and the decade- old poisons in the air in Tirana, Durres, Elbasan, Fier and elsewhere?!
