TIRANA, July 21 – President Bajram Begaj met the outgoing Ambassador of the European Union in Albania, Christiane Hohmann, on Friday.
President Begaj appreciated the role of Ambassador Hohmann in the important task of representing the EU Delegation in Tirana.
He pointed out that Hohmann came to head the Delegation just a few days after Albania had opened the negotiations for membership in the European Union.
According to Begaj, EU membership is the biggest strategic objective of Albania and Albanians.
At the end of the meeting, President Begaj wished Hohmann success in her future career. /argumentum.al
