The request is in an official letter addressed to the Special Appellate Panel by the head of state on Wednesday.
“The dispositions of these provisions in comparison with the circumstances of the fact, the evidence taken according to the form required by law and with which the President of the Republic has been officially recognized recently by the Constitutional Court, which are related to a case recently reviewed by this court, oblige us to forward this information accompanied by convincing evidence which confirms that there is more than enough evidence that one or several judges of the Constitutional Court have committed serious professional and ethical violations that discredit the position and image of judge during the exercise of the mandate, activity contrary to the requirements of law no. 8577/2000, which according to the provisions of article 128 of the Constitution and article 10, 10 / a of law no. 8577/2000, request that measures be taken by you for the immediate initiation of disciplinary proceedings,” said the letter.
In the letter, Meta refers to the decision for the June 30 elections, which decided to reject the request of the Association of Municipalities to declare them unconstitutional. “After reviewing the entire court file that has been forwarded to us by the Constitutional Court, there are some data and facts that make it mandatory to forward this information accompanied by convincing evidence which confirms that there is more than enough data that a Judge of the Constitutional Court and specifically Ms. Fiona Papajorgji and rapporteur of this case has committed serious professional and ethical violations that discredit the position and image of the judge during the exercise of the mandate.”
According to the data, it is necessary for the Constitutional Court to take measures for the immediate initiation of disciplinary proceedings by taking emergency and well-founded measures in relation to these disciplinary proceedings according to law. / Argumentum.al
