The Emir of Qatar, His Highness, Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani has invited the President, Ilir Meta to pay an official visit to Qatar, as well as to participate in the Fifth United Nations Conference, which will be held early next year in Doha.
President Meta announced that the invitation was handed over to him on Friday by the Ambassador of Qatar, Ali Bin Hamad Al-Marri.
“I asked the ambassador to convey the warm greetings and heartfelt thanks to the Emir of Qatar for the invitation, which I accepted with great pleasure,” said the President.
In addition Meta said that on this occasion he expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude for the generous assistance of the State of Qatar for Albania and the Albanian people over the years, and assured him of his full support for the strengthening of cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries. / Argumentum.al
