Thousands of citizens some of whom representing civil society gathered as announced protesting again against the price increase in front of premier’s building in Tirana on Saturday.
As they protested for several hours reiterating their demands, the participants in the protest warned that they would stay 24 hours before the Prime Minister’s office to get the full attention of the government, so that it could intervene in lowering prices.Currently, some of them are standing in front of the government building, while there have been clashes between them and the police as the latter tried to disperse them.
Last Monday the protesters warned that tents will be established in an attempt of uninterrupted protest if the government does not meet their requests.It is not clear what will happen. /Argumentum.al
