TIRANA, October 23 – Citizens gathered for the second time on Sunday in protest to demand the resignation of Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi after the death of 32-year-old Lear Kurti.
First they gathered in front of the Ministry of Interior, where they called for justice for the late young man, and then they moved in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.
“Rama in jail! Rama go! You are a murderer. Justice for Lear” were some of the calls that the citizens made.
In addition to different anti-government banners, the protesters held the photo of the 32-year-old handcuffed in the hospital.
After nearly an hour, they closed the protest warning that they will continue again to hold protests. /Argumentum.al
