TIRANA, February 13 – The visit of the Bavarian Prime Minister to Tirana, Markus Soder, was appreciated by Prime Minister Edi Rama as an important moment in the relations between Albania and Bavaria for the expansion of cooperation in various fields.
During the joint press conference with the Prime Minister of the Free State of Bavaria, Soder after the bilateral meeting on Monday, Rama said that there were three essential issues that were discussed on the opening of an office of Bavaria in Tirana for the development of entrepreneurship, the opening of a house of Bavarian culture and the support of young Albanians who want to study in Bavaria and return to Albania.
In the meantime Prime Minister Rama and the Prime Minister of Bavaria Soder signed a series of agreements in the field of public administration, business development, trade and industry, as well as in the field of justice and police, energy, infrastructure and technology, tourism, agriculture, environment and health, youth, education, science and culture.
The agreements reached will serve as new bridges of cooperation between the two countries in the wake of a tradition founded by the father of modern Bavaria, Franz Josef Strauss, said Rama.
The Prime Minister appreciated the role of the Free State of Bavaria, especially in the integration processes of the Western Balkans in the European Union. /Argumentum.al
