TIRANA, April 25 – Prime Minister Edi Rama has called on young men and women to see their approach to the Armed Forces as a new opportunity for themselves, their families, but also for their homeland.
Rama shared an informative video on Tuesday emphasizing that, “after the increase of salaries by 30% in 2022 and by 7% this year, another significant increase up to 22% will become a reality in 2024 for all military personnel of the Armed Forces of Albania.”
Further he expressed respect for the work of girls and boys in uniform, part of the front line in defense of the country’s territory.
Colonel Idriz Kuca expressed the belief that the increase in salaries will convince young people to stay in Albania and serve in the Armed Forces.
“In this time of uncertainty that we are living in, Albania needs more good soldiers to protect the country,” he said. /Argumentum.al
