TIRANA, November 2 – Prime Minister Edi Rama has said that Albania will strongly support Kosovo in the implementation of the Basic Agreement with Serbia.
“I cannot help but be proud of Albania’s determined and concrete contribution to the difficult process of normalizing relations between Kosovo and Serbia,” Rama emphasized in a post on social networks on Thursday.
However, added Rama, “the Association’s draft statute accepted by Kosovo and Serbia as a suitable working document is an EU project.”
“Albania will strongly support Kosovo in the implementation of the Basic Agreement and will continue to play its role in promoting peace, stability and regional cooperation between all our neighboring countries,” said Rama.
The Prime Minister said that he will soon visit Pristina to show his support. “Soon I will go to Pristina to personally show my support,” Rama announced in his post on social networks. /argumentum.al
